The Keck Institute for Space Studies at Caltech recently opened with a large conference room for lectures and meetings. The room features a motorized skylight cover installed by Interior Services as well as motorized double shades. All shades are controlled by a monitor at the podium for convenience. The motorized shades are banded to open and close together with a push of a button. Double shades give the option of letting all light, some light, or basically no light coming through. The skylight shades are motorized roller shades held with tension and side channel to prevent light coming in from the creases.
