The LEED Gold Rating for the brand new public library in Pico Rivera was due, in part, by Interior Services providing a Sun Dialer Automation System with 147 motorized shades blocking heat and allowing light during peak hours. The library features motorized bottom-up shades in the upper windows. Many large windows with top-down shades were installed into pocket hidden within the walls above the window sill. Motorized shades and room-darkening shades in commonly-used areas are controlled with override switches. The window shades that Interior Services installed are a sharp look to the inspiring modern library.
